Blogging Contest, Releases, and Signings, Oh My!

This is a reminder of upcoming events:

1. Our blogging/essay contest.  Discussion of this has been light so far, which surprises me, since we’re offering a $25 B&N gift card as part of first prize, and who wouldn’t want one of those?  In addition, it’s a contest for doing what many of you do anyhow-blogging!
2. The Megabelt release party in Panama City, FL complete with reading, signing, live music, and I hear there’s a cake.
3. Christian Archy will be released November 2, but since author, editors, and the company HQ are in three widely separated locations, we won’t be getting together for a party right now.  (Note that the new site, christian-archy.com, is now up and running.)
4. A bunch of Energion authors will be at the Pine Forest United Methodist Church craft show on November 14, 2009.  This craft show has a special place in our hearts as it was our first show when Energion Publications had only three books in the catalog back in 2004.  Normally craft shows are not all that great of a place to sell books, but we’ve done well at this one every year.
