FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Energion Publications announces the publication of Tales from Jevlir: Oddballs, a collection of fantasy short stories that inaugurates our new Enzar Empire Press imprint for fantasy and science ficition books.
Tales from Jevlir: Oddballs was released September 23, 2009 in both paperback (suggest retail $7.99) and Amazon.com Kindle format ($2.99). It is a collection of 10 short stories by Henry Neufeld, eight of them selected from The Jevlir Caravansary, and two written especially for this collection.
While it is initiated with a title written by Energion Publications owner Henry Neufeld, the Enzar Empire Press imprint will be seeking niche market fantasy and science fiction publications that are thought provoking and challenging.
The stories in this collection are set in the fantasy role playing universe designed by Neufeld in his twenties. Each story illustrates some aspect of one of the cultures in that world or one of the key characters. While the stories do not form a continuous whole, they do connect geographically and culturally.
Henry Neufeld is the author or co-author of nine Christian books, including What’s in a Version?, Not Ashamed of the Gospel: Confessions of a Liberal Charismatic, and When People Speak for God. This is his first fiction publication. He does fiction blogging at The Jevlir Caravansary. He lives near Pensacola, Florida with his wife Jody. They have three children and five grandchilden.
