AUTHORS AT AL-WFL UMC ANNUAL CONFERENCE
Energion Publications’ authors, Renee Crosby and Rev. Geoffrey Lentz took two hours out of their busy schedules to meet, greet, and autograph books at the 2010 Alabama-West Florida United Methodist Church Annual Conference in Montgomery, AL.
This was the first of several events for Mrs. Crosby, a new author, and her book, Soup Kitchen for the Soul. On Thursday evening, June 10, 2010, an invitation-only celebration for family and friends will be held in Shalimar, FL.
Her natural enthusiasm and way of interacting with crowd that gathered around the signing area at the conference made each person who came by feel like Renee had plenty of time for them. Her smile is quick and eyes shine as she shares how God met her through the clients at a local soup kitchen.
Rev. Lentz, quickly becoming a seasoned author, signed both of his books, The Gospel According to St. Luke and Learning and Living Scripture. “Three more books are in the pipeline,” says his publisher, Henry Neufeld. “With his full schedule as an associate pastor of a large church, we are amazed at how Geoffrey manages to complete these projects.”
