The Participatory Study Series is Growing
On Monday, September 12, 2011, Energion Publications owner Henry Neufeld and Dr. Wesley Wachob, Pastor of First United Methodist Church in Pensacola, signed the contract for Acts: A Participatory Study Guide, the next volume in the Participatory Study Series, with release anticipated early summer of 2012.
According to the First UMC web site, among Dr. Wachob’s publications are The Voice of Jesus in the Social Rhetoric of James (Cambridge University Press, 2002), and contributions to The Anchor Bible Dictionary, Authenticating the Words of Jesus, Fabrics of Discourse, and most recently contributing to Reading James with New Eyes: Methodological Reassessments of the Letter of James (Continuum International Publishing Group, 2007).
We’re especially pleased to be able to offer this volume because it will provide an excellent companion to the current study guide to Luke, written by Rev. Geoffrey Lentz, Dr. Wachob’s associate.
We are actively seeking new authors and volumes for this growing series, and expect to announce several more here soon.
