Today, March 10, 2025, is Commonwealth day. The Commonwealth of Nations includes 56 countries with 2.7 billion citizens. You can find a list of members here. Brunei’s national day is February 23, commemorating independence from the United Kingdom in 1984, which actually occurred on 1 January.

Unfortunately I missed posting this yesterday. Yesterday was Waitangi Day in New Zealand, the commemoration of the signing of the Treaty of Waitangi.
