Telling Stories of Experience
One characteristic I like in manuscripts is a strong element of personal experience. Today I wrote a devotional on the unbelievable stories the disciples told of the resurrection, and how they call us to stand up, be transformed, and transform the world.
I wanted to call attention to something that got me started in focusing on our current stories. My mother, Myrtle Blabey Neufeld, told me many stories of her life and how God had led. She wrote a book a few years ago, Directed Paths, that relates many of these stories. I think you would be encouraged in your Christian walk by this little book. I invite you to take a look.
