Ronald Higdon & Workshops with “Surviving A Son’s Suicide”

SSS CoverAuthor Ron Higdon, is a certified church consultant with over fifty years of pastoral and interim ministry experience. The release of Ron’s new book, Surviving A Son’s Suicide, brings an added tool to Ron’s workshop, Loss & Grief: A Workshop on All Kinds of Losses and the Many Faces of Grief. “This is a safe environment for people to bring their questions and concerns,” says Ron.

In the approximately two-hour workshop, some of the issues covered are:

  • Is there a normal/healthy way to grieve?

  • What should I say or not say to a grieving person?

  • How long does grief last?

  • What are some helpful “survival” strategies following loss?

  • Why is suicide so difficult to talk about?

  • How do you face the “aftershocks” that come with grief?

  • Is anger a normal part of the grief experience?

The Loss & Grief workshops are offered for only the cost of Ron’s expenses and each participant must purchase the book. You can contact Ronald Higdon by email: rbooks5000@aol.com, by telephone: (502) 228-5431, or by writing him at 6224 Deep Cove Court, Prospect, KY 40059.
