Looking at what’s ahead on the Energion Discussion Network
Today, Allan Bevere gets the work week started with adjusting our focus from the mundane to the heavenly to gain God’s perspective on our world. We’ll try to maintain that godly perspective through the rest of the week.
Now that our sleeves are rolled up, Bob LaRochelle suggests we dig deeply into the great offerings right here in Energion Publications to supplement our congregations’ adult education programs. I think he’s right! We have a lot to offer.
Just in time for hump day, Drew Smith addresses the anxiety in our lives and offers a cure. No snake oil here!
On Thursday, Edward W. H. Vick asks us to consider why or how the Bible is authoritative. Even more importantly, he concludes that our response is needed to make authority effective and meaningful.
On Friday, yours truly reviews the lessons learned from teaching a survey course on the Old Testament. It’s not what you learned in Sunday School.
We’ll close out this week with a word from our publisher, Henry Neufeld. He always has something informative to tell us, but since he doesn’t know that he’s doing this, we’ll have to wait and see on this one. But—it it wlll be good! (Thankfully, Henry is a good sport!)
