Tonight’s Hangout – Lent: Season of the Resurrection
During Lent we’re offering a series of topics during our Tuesday night hangouts that are designed to help us think more about the season (including Easter, which is where it leads). We began with Lent: Season of Sorrow, in which I talked with author William Powell Tuck, who has written quite a bit about the cross.
Tonight, Elgin Hushbeck, Jr. hosts and his guest is Rev. Steve Kindle, author of the newly released book I’m Right and You’re Wrong: Why we disagree about the Bible and what to do about it. They’ll be expressing different views of the resurrection, so expect more of a conversation than an interview, and they’ll be looking at the process. How did each approach scripture and history to come to their different conclusions about the resurrection.
And no, I’m not going to detail those conclusions. You’ll have to watch the video for that!
You can find more information about the event on our Google+ page, and you’ll find a YouTube viewer just below my signature if you want to come here to watch the event. The Q&A app will be active, so you will be able to ask questions of the participants.
